LAVENDER BUM FODDER By Billie Cullimore My artistic nature came into play When I found lavender toilet paper on display. So I proudly put some in the upstairs room. Never dreaming of it's fateful doom. You kids be quiet, don't make a peep. I finally got baby brother to sleep. He's down for a nap, I can get something done. Keeping me up all night isn't much fun. The older children had gone out to play. Oh! For some peace on this summer day. I hoped that I could find the time, For an hours sleep, I'd give my last dime. What was that noise? I could scarcely hear. It sounds like it's coming from up stairs. He's asleep, I think. But to my horror. You'll never guess what I found on the floor. Emptying the roll was his first delight. Putting it in the toilet was out of sight. Pulling it out was the most'est fun. Then you can see how the water runs. All over the floor, in a lavender puddle, Was my darling boy, to wet to cuddle. In his eyes, on top of his head In the tub, on the walls, what more can be said? There he sat with his cute little grin. With lavender toilet paper on his chin. I found it stuck between his two little teeth, But, I had to laugh to my great relief. ************ From the history of The Fabulous Four. |

Oh this is just so delightful to read and puts a smile of recognition on another mum and grandma's face this evening. What don't those little boys get up to :-) So sweet and charming and a true pleasure to read. Heart2Heart |

You just can't get good colored butt paper anymore, Boy, I remember the lavender paper, and the orange and green and blue, they were great for going toilet papering the neighborhood. Remember when we did the Hardy's house. 20 rolls, cut in half. Oh, maybe you didn't recognize the lavender paper on their house. (SORRY) Poetry just doesn't get any better than this. LOVE IT!!!!!! Tracey,, ps. I think this is about my little brother, CHIP. He turned out all right. Here is a poem about him: /main/forumdisplay.cgi?action=displayarchive&number=100&topic=000392 The answer is always NO, Until the question is asked. |

Thanks to all who had fun reading about one of My Fabulous Four. I'm sure it brought back memories to a lot of mothers. No, Tracey, this was not Chip, it was your brother Brad. We still lived in New Jersey, Brad was about 16 months old, he would pile his teddy bears and other toys on top of each other in the corner of his crib and then climb on top of them so he could get his leg over the edge of the crib and away he would go over the side and on to the floor. This I found out later when trying to figure out how he got out of his crib. Beleive me this is just the begining. Love to all Billie C. |

Those were the good old days, "Lavender" toilet paper, "Avocado" washers and dryers, "Harvest" gold refridgerators, and "Pea Grean and Salmon" colored Thunderbirds. WE WERE LIVING LARGE BACK THEN I still remember the pink toilet and sink, and the pink and white tile around the tub, we had in Orem, I wonder if they are still in that house? |
