I Would Write a Poem I would write a poem and send it on to thee could I find the nouns and verbs that explain the mystery of red feathered arrows, flying to intended mark; of narcotic music mesmerizing the dark; of importuning doves each bearing a thornless rose, of giddy walks a'reeling from sultry desire exposed; of diaphanous dreams, hypnotic visions nigh, nightly perspiration, yearning's effort doth supply. But the muse avoids me words flee this empty mind, therefore all that is sent is this greeting, thus consigned. |

It is an honour to read such beautiful words which say so much from the wonderful (and published) poet that you are Old Poet. I am so happy to see that you have time to look in on us. Well, it soon being July 4th, you will know I would be very proud to see a certain poem here, which always will remain my favourite by you... Katriona :-) |

OldPoet, Welcome to the "Family of Blue" I would say your muse is residing comfortably in your back pocket, don't sit on him (or her, as the case may be) I enjoyed your first post, and look forward to reading more of your work. Take care, Tracey. |

My sincere and grateful thanks to all who have left comments here. I really appreciate the warm and friendly welcome that has been so graciously extended. When my dear friend Heart-to-Heart aka Katriona suggested that I post here, I, as always, trusted her judgment. |
