overture… come on in welcome everyone stay for the show follow the fun brown~eyed girl opens act one admission at the door hear her heartsongs kewl heart lady watch her work spotlight on her she weaves her words our girl’s got grit unsinkable spirit read it in her words listen, hear it watch real closely pay attention now big finale coming kick the footlights out written applause standing ovation she takes her bows gathers bouquets hopefully anticipating tomorrow’s review to immortalize her words in pip culture blue encore… ________________________ ~this, too, was kind of inspired by margherita's comment with a line or two thrown in for ds... it's just me havin' fun  [This message has been edited by brneyedgrly (06-30-2009 12:51 AM).] |

~dearest 'rita... can i just say that you make me feel so good about myself...thank you for seeing and appreciating all those things in me...i didn't realize anyone was paying attention. i came to pip like we all did, i suppose...to be a writer...a need to share my poems with someone...to be understood. i chose carefully; i didn't want to just put them out anywhere. what i wasn't prepared for were all of you wonderful people...i didn't realize how i would get to know you all 'from the inside out' (read that in one of serenity blaze's writings)...and that i would come to care so much for everybody... and by far the best part has been reading everyone else's work...i am in awe at the talent in these blue pages and have never experienced so many kindred spirits in one place before thank you from the bottom of my heart, 'rita...you are awesome! ~s |
