The Shepherd cried until he couldnÕt Shed another tear, another rise from the sun And the night that fell below the passion of night Where the sight of his small boy hanging from a tree With his loosely wrangled hair like the grassy Knowles Could no longer be seen. The faint air levied its head Amongst the hours and the Shepard Faced his wife with a clenched fist, A clenched jaw, With her tears around his shoulder And a boy that stood through the walls But no longer within their presence, No longer did his voice gallop at the sight of breakfast, At the sight of his motherÕs curls Circling his fathers eyes So majestically, like a tree Standing at his highest point, Waving at the sky For the expectance of another day An expectance to see their boy Walk with his small hips Towards their small kitchen, For a future became lost on that fateful day. |

The pain of this is unbearable. I hope it brought a sliver of comfort to write. Owl |
