TINY ANGEL

What is it that you dream about
when you're fast asleep?
Dear angel that has graced our hearts
so whole and so complete.

We see you smile with eyes shut tight
and wonder what you see.
Is that where Jesus plays with you
and sets you on His knee?

Or could it be our loved ones that
have passed from here to there?
That lights your soul within your dreams
and bring your smiles, so fair.

You haven't lived here very long,
but what a difference you have made!
You've made us smile with joyous tears
and they're moments we wouldn't trade.

I know we'll see more happy tears
because you are quite small.
The tiny angel God has sent
to mesmerize us all!

Okay, gang, it has been QUITE A WHILE since I've written anything ... even this one is old. :-/ [Since my niece is now almost four and I wrote this when she was THREE DAYS OLD. LOL] I know I may need some critiquing. Have any for me? Change up some punctuation? Different words? Anything? : )

Yo dear saved_by_grace,

You have the right idea here. I bet she still smiles.

I'd think of making that "lights" instead of "light".

This needs to light up more people's lives. This is so breathtakingly beautiful and sad.
