Floating there In the evening air Cadence in two’s and three’s How peaceful the sight Of honeysuckle light Weaving deftly among bushes and trees Though I cannot recall Spring, Summer, or Fall When last I’d witnessed the Waltz I’ll remember this day For Death has held sway And my love is at rest in the vault But this do I know She’d loved watching it so This Dance of the Fireflies And when I see them there In the evening air I know truly; Love never dies. |

WOW. Took me back to my youth and summers in the Midwest. A light and happy remembrance work for a love that has left this world. |
