The Other Side of Silence Nothing sweeter, than the quizzical moments Where our eyes shimmer in shadows, twinkling with wonder There I observe myself in the highlights of you When the sounds of our laughter makes music That wanders along each instep, and tingles in my toes Lifting me from the ground, in twirls from the floor Nothing sweeter in this world than the banter of friends The love that makes sharp twinge and gentle soothe Where our hearts beat in tune with gasped breath and warm wine The days pass into mist, as I listen to the new voice of dawn Listen, for the pale coat of frosted lament that films the air Nothing sweeter, than I when those questions find voice And again, I have passed through, to the other side of silence Copyright Kkh 12/12/09 |

This is just outstanding. The way you link your thoughts together with just the right words is amazing. Zeitgeist. |

fine lines and imagery here! I am especially fond of: "Nothing sweeter in this world than the banter of friends" ... WHAT a grand line ! and: "...days pass into mist, as I listen to the new voice of dawn"; "Nothing sweeter, than ... when those questions find voice And again, I have passed through, to the other side of silence" applause!! |

fairly sure my noggin uh-splodified because the concept of our eyeballs shimmerfyin' in the dark spots is a wonderful one indeed. Fall in love early, fall in love often. |
