not with words but I saw it there saw that poetry written in your eyes. I wasn't old enough, wasn't rich enough, just plain not enough. I laughed at you then, made you cry. I fell backwards inside of that tree and gave everything I had, made it light up ten thousand colors. Every vein of every leaf glowing red hot fire sunshine filled up that tree sunshine that you passed by and never even noticed. _________________________________________ Bad Habits. Alison, you're still a doll. I'll save up for that postage stamp. (read my reply in the other one if that makes absolutely no sense) My lady, thanks very much. That is absolutely true. I get locked into this brain wavelength of "mind-blowing, and nothing less will do." Not every poem can be mind-blowing. The real face-melters have to just come along every so often, or they wouldn't mean much, I reckon. Love, Paul Fall in love early, fall in love often. |
