When we were 16 we had the whole world ahead of us. Where do all the years go ? My children have all practically grown up. Today I stand in the footprints of my mother's yesterdays, and tomorrow I will stand in the footprints of my mother's today's, but the day after tomorrow, my anchor will set me free. |

I read this just after posting my "Reflections." You said it too, the years just go by too fast and leave you wondering. I enjoyed your writing. |

A good work, I like it. I also was touched by "Today I stand in the footprints of my mother's yesterdays," I am curious about the last line, "my anchor will set me free.". I have been given something to think about for a long night. Thank you for for sharing. |
