The world can survive without your glance,
without the certainty you have to belong
to the spherical clouds, to the volcanoes and dance
of wild rivers, the world isn't your legitimate song,

the world isn't your stolen childhood nor the exception
that you dreamt of, thinking of God or Salvation,
the world can survive without your generous dreams,
without the free roads of your self raving gleam.

Do you know where you go brother, collecting memories
to build ivory cathedrals,and to build your own mind
as a conscious shell abandoned on a faraway beach,
do you know where you go brother, collecting memories,

the world can survive without your glance,
do you know where you go , do you know you are a survivor
as everyone else on this melting ideal planet,
Robinson Crusoé surrounded by billions of twinkling stars.
