Cheap Poetry! I just put down my words And send them off to you But, after ya’ read ‘em I wonder, what ya’ do. Do they get passed on Are they worth, your “friends”? I doubt it and most times That’s where the “wording” ends. I get the kindest words To say, “You’re really good” But you don’t, send them on Like, I wish you would. When my words end up In the trusty, “delete” bin I just wish, I’d wrote enough To pass on to your friend! 2-7-2004 Del "Abe" Jones Mankind's greatest accomplishment is not the revolution of technology, it is the evolution of creativity. copyright 1984 |

Aw hon--I know how it feels to feel unappreciated, so hugs. And yanno? I decided that poetry is like...blowing bubbles. You don't own the bubble once is leaves your magic wand, it just floats off, and sometimes you get to enjoy watching someone enjoy it, and other times? Well, sometimes people are grouchy and don't want bubbles. Have another hug. |

Well Abe, I guess you are correct. You do not know where the poetry goes. I just e-mailed your Marine poem to an older Marine who now lives in Hawaii and helps teach the young Marines there. I sent a few of yours to a guy in Texas. I know you would not mind my doing that as I always leave your name am credit and the people I chose to sent them to appreciate them. I also have an "Abe file" so I will have those I send out. You are appereciated , latearrival |

Hi Abe, I didn't realize that you wanted me to pass them on. I don't toss them out - your poetry sits in my email and I read it from time to time. I am more than happy to send your poems on to those I know would appreciate them. I don't do that without permission though. I consider this poem my permission. Wishing you well and send away. A |
