The Next Moment

Sometimes I feel
like crying
when missing
a loved one
from my past
or present
and I don't
know what to do,
so I just
go ahead and cry
and hope that
the next moment
will take care
of itself.

Time always takes care of itself, it's great and terrible that way.  And crying is good for the soul - or so they tell me.

This is wonderful, really.

The holidays are notorious for that, aren't they?  My heart caught in my throat as your arrow hit target!  Poignant penning.... ~K
