What does it mean to be a friend? Perhaps it means, you are willing to bend. Willing to bend like a tree in the wind. To bend over backwards to please a friend. Does it mean you are willing to lend, A few dollars to someone not your kin? To some that might set a bad trend, For someone to make a loan to a friend. 'Tis a little kindness is what you intend, You must be prepared sometimes to bend. Thus showing true love to any old friend, In my books I'd say you will always win! AL Inmon |

Yes, your words on friendship display truth. It is in giving that we receive. Well done! Love, Margherita |

Think back; you may not have realised at the time, but you do now. That is a true friend. |

I think bending and giving for a friend is what a friend does, not sure about bending over backwards~~~ M |
