Feed me your lies They taste good on my tongue Worm your way in With the tales you’ve spun Bind me in half-truths Pull the wool over my eyes Hide behind your mask Your handsome disguise You slink through the darkness As you search for your prey Oh why do I stand still, When I should run away? I see you now, See who you really are I curse myself, For falling this far Now faced with this choice Of believing your lies, Or of walking away And severing all ties My heart, it aches My illusions I miss Oh why did it all Have to come to this? |

Eirian, I have felt this way before. You brought it back to me, tied in the ribbon-words of poetry. Alison |
