 If Only To End The Silence Messages which go unread I often wondered why Still I am left to guess Since not getting their reply I got nowhere with guessing So I write again instead If only to end the silence I hope this message is read The reason for my message Is because I still care I wish they would reply As silence was hard to bear Still being their forever friend Which I shall always be Its the reason I had sent Messages in loving sincerity Hope© 2009 |

Hope, Hope, Hope, so GREAT to hear from you again. It's your old buddy Brad from Spyder's Poetry.  This piece is SO timely because I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. I had been writing this girl, texts, emails, calls and heard nothing, I hurt, wondered if I had said or done something wrong and then last night, she writes me a long email like nothing ever happened. I guess all we can do is keep at it, keep sending those messages, or just feed them with silence until they decide to contact us. and keep Hope  "Silence must have its reasons" THAT is a GOLDEN line! |

'High' Hope!  So that's what you have been doing! Writing letters to fill the silence. We 'sensitive types' take stony silences personally. However, I've come to understand that ofttimes it has nothing to do with us. It's just that 'they' get so caught up in their own lives that they forget to 'smell the roses'.
