Fight or Flee

My heart says fight
My mind says flee
Which is stronger

Fighting is worth it
if in the end
we are whole again

But if I flee
It would be so much easier
and so much less painful

But pain can beworth it
if you want what your
fighting so hard for

I know what to do
I choose to fight
real men dont flee

If in the end
I still lose
atleast I knew what to choose

I will fight this battle
untill its end

Given that my partner has breast cancer, this is a delimma I am facing myself. I just hope I'm strong enough to keep fighting.

Goddess grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

Finding the strength to continue to fight is hard, but just continue to digg deep with in your self. Im finding strength in places I never thought I would. Including my writting for me to use as reminders to my self that I am a strong person. Just as I am sure you too are.

Fighting is hard... but so is fleeing... avoidance takes a lot of energy and usually resolves nothing. *S* Good luck!!
