One Anothers Presence

In the morning
eggs and malasada's,
four for her
and two for me,
washed down with
java and orange juice
under our banyon tree.
Upon the afternoons
soup and large
bowls of brown rice,
come the evenings
teriyaki chicken,
lobster or sushi,
and whatever else
seems nice.
At first hint of night
she lights the candles
as we linger
in the moonlight,
dwelling in one
anothers presence
is indeed a delite.
Touching and kissing,
whispering sweet words
into each others ears,
savoring the days and nights
every time that we're near.
