By Another's Eyes As I try the "rest for the weary" surrounded by piles of each yesterday it is there where my heart beats the rhythm of past, the unloading of more of the less of the last. Awakened from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" worn by the promises, words once in play it is now that my heart skips its rhythm of beat emptiness filling this need to repeat. Once were the wishes... seeing beyond endless, this path that keeps twisting my way it is then when the darkness defines and denies... that truth is revealed by the depth of one's eyes. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

Good morning, M! "truth is revealed by the depth of one's eyes." ~ and I would wager that your own eyes are very deep and touch your beautiful soul. Linda |

Good Morning, Linda. Thank you. I am trying to "wade" through over 30 years of "stuff" trying to decide how much to toss away/give away, and what I want to save for who knows what reason. When you don't move and stay put you sure collect way too much stuff. I think of all the money wasted on so many useless things even if they did give pleasure back then. |

Enjoyed your wise ponderings over yesterday which speaks to you through objects and the connected memories. I have experienced that when I have the courage to get rid of certain things, I feel so much better. We create new space for the emotions of now. May this happen to you too. Excellent write. M, money is never wasted on what gives pleasure. Happiness is all we really have in life. Nice to read you again. Now that I have satellite internet and it's getting colder, maybe I can be on here more. About things...well, I've never had much. Always traveled lightly. But I'm ready to settle down and start collecting. |

Maureen, it is hard to decide what to get rid of. I've been trying to od that for quite awhile, now. |

Margherita, I am trying to feel better about ridding of many things of my past. It is very hard when some are periods of change in my life, but having seen what happens when one's life is over and the emptying of that life's holdings, I would rather do it myself then have another do it. Might take me awhile though, before I see any results! Dixie, nice to see you again. Hope all is well and yes, life is what we make it. (p.s. I enjoy listening to the cd's daily for comfort and were one of the best gifts I ever received in my life) I wish I had satellite, dial up is sooo slow! Thanks Lindsay, always written from the heart as heart is all I have. Sue, well, I don't want any fighting over my "stuff" when the time comes...so there will be very little other than the basics. I am simplifying my life, though it may take awhile. M |
