I am the dusk, I am the dawn I am a little dappled fawn I rise above, I delve beneath The deepest measure of belief All that you know, all that you see Are wellsprings of my entity I am your darkness and your light Your prayers of day, your dreams of night I am the canvas of your art I am the contents of your heart I have been poised upon your tongue To sing the songs you left unsung I am the you, you are the me Dear poet, I am your poetry Elizabeth Santos |
