So the night kept its place.

Took its stand.

Its bearing soul lighting up the land.

We'll never understand.

The battle between the Night and Day.

There was once a song, or so they say,

That would describe the feud,

Of the powerful foes,

We may never hear its harmony,

For we go deaf as the days pass,

Grow much too smart for our own good,

So Magic is gone in the days last.

I know I sure used to go darn deaf as the day passed.  I am just so glad that rat race is now over for me.   Well done.
