Slow River |

Flow down the river, the weight lifting from your chest slow and calm look to the right through the thinly cut woods and there runs a stream fast and bright bathed in light rushing rapids through a shallow brook the shallows the shallows and sharp edged rocks should we switch to the shift of another lover another one swift the only thought being if there where would we spill where would we spill and so look ahead from this slow turning tube even if we linger in the bend it is the more beautiful view |
