Eyes shut but still alert, You say for me to stay with you at your side So you can tell me of when you; were my age So I will learn the way I should by mistakes, accidents, friends So I can look up at the night stars and say I made my life worth it You said I should burn forever, my soul Never ceasing to stop not even for a cold wind to pass a disturbance in my silent pass; And with that you told me we have no silent pasts; only loud memorable ones So that's what I decided to do To live my life like you would have wanted and live it as a moment, not a string of events as a pool of light flooding from the open window in your bedroom at night |

Touching and memorable, I like the way you thinks. What'a lot a talent you got. You make me jealous! |

What a strong and wise mother! I very much enjoyed this intimate and personal poem. Sutra 93: Do not speak to me of Reality: it is a personal concept that varies with the Observer. |

live it as a moment, not a string of events as a pool of light flooding from the open window in your bedroom at night What a way to live... what a tribute to her... well done! |
