My eyes are like hands, firm, yet tender skinned, Holding you up from sinking softly, down And absorbing the senses taken in, As feet remain planted on solid ground Countless sights, and pleasures the eyes will bring, Empowered by sight alone to touch thee Held transfixed by a gaze unrelenting, Yet so tragic, that the hands cannot see The imprint of thy image, volumes speak, Of touches that I can furtively steal Across time, distance, a sensory feast, Through the eyes, my flesh can faithfully feel My eyes caress like hands across your skin Let me feel you like that, and take you in |

that was drop jaw awesome dude! That is not what a woman thinks a man is feeling when he is undressing her with his eyes. Your poem draws a line in the sand that makes a distinction between seeing and touching as clear as making love and having sex. Bravo! |

Wow, thank you so much Lori. That's exactly what I was hoping someone would see in this. |

C G- You wrote it so good there was no other way to feel about it (for me) Your last line made my whole being go "I want to be looked at like that." |
