Wishing on a star
Longing for the love
Wonder where you are
So distant far above

Wishing by the moon
Asking if the day
Ever coming soon
Love fills my heart to stay


Hoping in the night
Tomorrow brings the one
Shimmering starry light
Love and joy shall come

For as old as I am, I never
not want to wish upon a star...

it is a childhood habit...

one I intend to keep forever.
