Walking beside you,discovering anew, Ancient paths,feet worn smooth, Stunted oaks,moss covered boulders, Woodland anenomes,abut bluebell glades, Tortured branches and twisted roots, Raining heavily,swollen brook below, Sparse green canopy up above, Folklore brought vividly to life, Your pleasure at my delight, Plain for all to see, You take my hand gently, Leading upwards into the fairytale. |

thank you so much. you can't know how much it means to me to have such a compliment made. you are so very kind. i wrote this a few months ago but it's as fresh in my mind as the day i wrote it. i don't know much about form, construction & frightening things like iambic? thinks i must read up on it before next attempt. thank you again.x |

Thank you, you're very kind. It is an actual place called Padley Gorge in the Peak District National Park in England. I wrote it after the first time I visited with my partner. |
