It is deep in the willows, the rustleing of the leaves, I hear the echoes of your voice, reaching out, calling to me, My lovers lips tremble with words, as my hand writes them on this paper, my lips kiss each one as I send it, so you can kiss my lips again, To see the expression of love, written inside your deep eyes, the fragile creaces and crevaces, where your smile of love had been, The breath has gone out of me, my body trembles, shakes, your absence does this to me, this weakened state of love, I hold the locket in my hands, clasped with your hair inside, a piece of you, I carry, always near and dear to my heart, For love is timeless as the sea, rolling on and on eternally, I shall die twice in this life, the second is when you are no more. |
