Just like everyone else,
old Bones is on the way out.

Of course,
he doesn’t feel lonely,
everyone’s having it done.

It’s a worldwide obsession,
everyone’s involved.

It’s all been planned
by the big guy,
if you know what I mean.

Bobby

Dear Bobby, it's good that you don't feel lonely, everyone is involved indeed! But I do hope you will be allowed to stay a little longer down here.
Wishing you well!
Love,
Margherita

Yes, Bobby, we all have to move on to be part of a larger plan. But - but, there's no reason that Bone's exit can't be a long one.

Love,
Alison

Dear, sweet Bobby,

I am totally in agreement with Alison. There is no reason why Bones can't have a long exit, and a glorious one at that. He will be sorely missed when he is gone.

Maybe all of us poets will get to meet soon.
No doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Peace to you.

I sense that there is more going on here than meets the eye. I am feeling an intense sadness.

May you be well, Bobby!

Yo LindsayP,

Don't get the wrong idea, the real old Bones is doing well.  I should not have posted this poem.

Yo Linda,

I am well, I just got out of the hospital, and I'm doing fine.

I should not have posted this poem.

Yo Everyone else,

Thanks for your more than kind comments.  I should not have posted this poem.  I'm doing well, after a stay in the hospital.

Love Bobby

It's good to know that you are doing well, dear Bobby. Whether or not you think that you should not have posted this poem, it is a very good poem, because it shows your serene attitude towards the "unavoidable" and thus it has a reason to be read and pondered.

Enjoy your life.

Love,
Margherita

Thanks dear Margherita,

At prsent, I'm spending most of my time in hospital, with no end in sight.

I have a sodium problem in my blood stream.  Lots of tranfusions and throwing up.

I'm looking forward to better times.
