The Girl of My Dreams

You’re the prettiest girl in my life,
Now you understand my strife.
I’d run a mile,
To see your smile,
The way your skin gleams,
Makes you the girl of my dreams.

You’re eyes,
Are as blue as the skies.
They make me think,
To go on the brink,
Of happiness.
Which can only be,
That you’re with me.
When I look at you, my heart steams,
Which can only mean you’re the girl of my dreams.

When I first saw you I realized something,
That when we’re together you’re the only thing.
That matters in this world,
Which feels like its being twirled,
On Cupid’s arrow,
Your as delicate as a sparrow.
Flying in the wind,
Not being with you makes me feel like I’ve sinned.
Every time I see you my heart screams,
I think this means you’re the girl of my dreams.

There is only one problem,
I’ll always be lonesome.
The reason for this,
I’ll never feel you’re kiss.
Because there is only one place I see you,
And this place, is my dreams.

Keep on dreaming, she will appear one day,
just out of the blue...maybe these pages of blue? you never know?

I know a hockey player, he taught me how to ice skate....
