 The moon casts her golden light, mystical light bringing shadows, dark shadows through the tall trees, Big, full, golden moon in open sky, sky of midnight black, I love to gaze upon your beauty, Small, blanket clouds, see-through, slowly float by your glow, vapors of mist passing. Something speaks to me, through the September skies, mysterious moon of magic, Up there watching all of us, queen of the night sky, sitting on your throne of clouds. Knights of stars at your command, the seas, attract to your magnetic pull, and the king sun, hides from you. Luna, moon of wonder, who guides me home evey night, watches as I sleep, Burn ever so bright, always be near, your mysteries speak to me. |
