This is my translation of a poem by a Victoria Roshe, a good friend of mine. She writes poetry in Russian. *** You’re – my beloved! Doubt it not. It’s true. We’ve met and this means that the rails Had served their purpose to the end. The two Lost spirits, whose long, winding trails Were not to intersect, still intersected. Reorganizing fortune, we contrived To steal a smaller life and pass by undetected, From the external and enormous life. Let stale time drive in the pointed wedge, Thus splitting us, insensitive and swift. We are together underneath the sledge, Where diamond dust is hidden in the rift. |

We are together underneath the sledge, Where diamond dust is hidden in the rift. Those two lines are a sample of why I always search out your work, great job. |
