Listen to the morning breeze
part the leaves of night
in dawn's cobalt sky
with beams of shimmer-light,
as a solitary dewdrop glistens
in cosmic reflection,
all-seeing, all-knowing
but rarely revealing
the depth of Whole.

~Elusive Knowledge~

One can almost taste
a milky wave of energy
pulsating rhythmically,
enticing weary spirits
to re-energize, re-align
disjointed mindsets,
to merge with the universe
into a slip-stream
of sublime serenity.

Somewhere,
a bubble suddenly bursts,
releasing an evanescent wave-spirit
into the great void.

Wow, dear Kacy, this is a most beautifully inspired work and as you may know by now, totally after my own heart.

You perceive the Whole and render it masterfully.

Love and hugs.

Kacy, cosmic knowledge may elusive to many Earthlings ~ but not for someone as evolved as yourself ~ or Margherita.

You creative mind (and spirit) is a beautiful thing to behold!

I very much enjoyed this poem, Kacy.

But I often wonder whether it is cosmic knowledge that one seeks, or one's place within it.

As humans, existential uncertainty is part of our very existence.

It's a question that can only be answered through philosophy and spirituality. Many ignorant people claim that the two are in conflict, but I see the disciplines of mind and soul as one.

There is soooooooooooooooo much in the world, and you open our eyes to it, or if we have already experienced it, you remind us about it.  You are one of Pip's greatest and most wonderful gifts.  Thank you.

Where were you back in the sixties, seventies when I'd've sat under the milkyway and discussed this with you all night and into the day. ahh, I remember, you were that twinkly one, a little off center that I talked to and ahmmm'd with when everyone else had crashed.

Yes...we had a lot to say.

Loved it...

LOL, I was 'everywhere' Jimmy.
California, then Texas (ex was at Fort Bliss in El Paso before going to Nam).
Then the Middle East and Europe for a year, back to California and Oregon.
We were under the same milky way the whole time

Yes, indeed, but so hard to do.  Wonderful write, Kacy.  Almost takes my exhaustion away.

(big huggies) Oh Kacy, one thing I've especially loved about your poetry in all my time here is how you really embrace the spiritual realm in life and reach for something beyond the air of your fingertips, where so much lambent imagery and grace is always found!

(sigh) What I've been working on lately is merging my poetry with Conscious Dance, because I feel my latest poems are not meant to be read on paper but rather kinetically brought to life, and I've been regularly attending Ecstatic Dance and what's called the Sacred Circle Sunday Dance Gathering, which are Conscious Dance events. Many of my new friends, including my dakini and fellow volunteering friends, also attend these dances and I've gotten soooooooooo much inspiration from them, so much ethereal essence and elusive knowledge from them!

This is one of my favorites from you yet, my friend, I'm keeping this one in my personal library!

XOXO,

Noah, that is great!
Interpreting life through body movement is a timeless and universal expression found 'round the globe.
It's wonderful that you have found a way to express in bodyart what you already do so well with words!

Okay, Midnitesun.  That does it!  You are my very first favourite poet on this site.  Your poetry speaks to my core values and beliefs.  The words compliment the imagery, and a Cosmic spirituality shines through.
Thank you.
