Gone

like that leaf

in the green yellowing

gone like the trust

of her cling to the branch

Done

it is rust

from yellow to this--

flutter-fling parchment

spinning wings made of lust.

I wish I'd done anything

anything else

than spread my blood thinly

through veins of myself.

It is a sad write, SB, but it's never too late to ... thicken the blood.  I can relate so much to what you say and, as usual, you say it so well.

So gritty and so always well written. This is so you Karen.

Impressed is me, as always.

Your humble servant.
