Secrets Never Told Slowly walking on this path "I find, A journey I must take alone. I look to my heart to forgive you, But the mask I wear is my own. Why is there always secrets, Never told between two lovers. There may be tears that will follow, About the possibility of others. The night owl sings his intentions, Morning dew washes away yesterday's tears. The dawn brings hope to my Heart, And chases away all my fears. Annie 15-08-2009 |

I believe that there are some secrets that best left secret. I know I have heard a few that I wish I had never heard. Overall, however, I think it's best to clear the air and be honest with each other. "The dawn brings hope to my Heart, And chases away all my fears." I like the upbeat, hopeful closing to this open heart spill. Nice to see you again, Annie! Linda |
