Define

what do I reference this feeling to
book spine bent unbroken
words on pages folded yellow
past experience of jagged glass
I feel it on the edges of my skin
reaching with brail tipped fingers
irrational paper cut dictionary rules
explain this complex meaning of
heart

"I'm so hard to handle
I'm selfish and I'm sad."
— Joni Mitchell

I sure wish I could explain it to you. All I know is that the heart sure seems to endure alot of pain.

The heart is complex indeed!!

I love every good thought you put into this.

I love reading your poetry, your short verse is extroardinary!!

It hurts so good though
liked your brevity and brazen words

There's no more common denominator... and nothing harder to express than the heart's journeys and the scars and joys it finds along the way...

But when its dictionary is written, you'll be the author. *S* Loved this!

This has many messages for the readers,

and some between the poignant lines.
