To promises I make,I am true till death Then why the people I hold dear Shy away and do not spare a breath To break the promises they made and told me I am a dear Than everything and everyone in this world And laugh behind me in front of the world. Do they ever stop to think The destruction their actions cause How slowly I am loosing my mind and never think That the world may still hold a few who are true to the cause Of giving and caring and loving with an earnestness But time is slipping through due to their carelessness Bereft of all trust I go on with a brave thrust. Come what may in my path Never will I be forced away from my path And in the end will I be at the top The world watching while with joy I hop. |

It can be overwhelming when you feel you are surrounded by people who dont seem to care, or when you are betrayed by someone you love, but you seem like a very strong person and you deserve brighter days <3 joe |
