Reflections By Paul Wilson Can you see me in the reflection of your memory or am I just an empty face with no features to recall Does your heart still cry my name do you miss my gentle touch when the setting sun gives birth to another lonely night I touch your memory as eyes slowly shut blocking out the now forevermore memories never fade but visions always seem to stray In my solitude I find comfort in knowing you will never be forgotten even when visions fade and memories are all I have left ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |

Paul - You do write from the heart, but you sound saddened by what I read. Stay well my friend, and keep any sadness a distant memory... BC |

There is something so comforting in good memories. In the beginning we are all so devastated by our loss that we are not able to see that the hollow pain of bereavement, whatever the cause, will pass. I am talking out of experience, as many will be able to do as well. This is an incredibly moving poem that touched me tremendously when I read it last evening. Heart2Heart |

Maureen...I know you can relate to this from our past talks. Thanks for reading and understanding...Paul Bill...My friend no need to worry, just some silly ramblings I thought I wanted to write about, trying to jump start my muse. Thanks for caring and for being a friend...Paul latearrival...Glad you liked this. It was my pleasure to share with you. Thanks...Paul Heart2Heart...Thank you , for me the greatest reward is for someone to read my poetry and say it touched them and helped bring comfort to them in some way. I really appreciate your tender, caring words...Paul ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul |

"Can you see me in the reflection of your memory" ~ Paul, I would wager that she still does. As I have mentioned to many times in the past, dear Paul, I identify with so much of which you write. Linda |

brneyedgrly...Glad you enjoyed this. i really appreciate you taking time to read & reply...Paul Linda...Funny how I write from a fictional stand point and so many people think I am really living my poetry. I think deep inside I always try and put myself in the place of people with real problems and lost loved ones and capture what they feel thru my poetry. Who knows maybe i'm crazy. I just really really love to write about emotional subjects. As always thanks for your caring reply...Paul ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |
