Some enter a world so unkind Experience suffering of many lifetimes Others yet from an outside view Live content struggles are few How and why such a balance as this For what could be reasons Such a difference exists All we can do is ride out the storm Maybe the lucky have storms of their own All we can do is be the best one can be Through all the indifference pride and apathy You make the difference in all that you do Just a thought to ponder you are special For there is only just one you..... enjoyed pondering your thoughts and I believe we all have our own set of struggles to overcome...it does, however, sometimes seem like some people have a little more on their plate enjoyed |

I believe that reincarnation helps explain the inequality of birth. If all souls are created equal ~ and we were all to have just one lifetime, then why would one soul be born into an existence where they are deformed, underprivileged, beaten, unloved while another soul is born into a healthy life of love, beauty, privilege and opportunity? Just some of my own ponderings. I also believe that many who appear to have a charmed life, may have some heavy burdens that may not be apparent to others. (Take me, for example! ) The American 'royal' family ~ the Kennedy's, may have had fame, glory, wealth etc. but they certainly have had their share of tradgedies, as well. Like yourself, I have had similar ponderings but I have never expressed them as poetically as you have just done! A fine, thought-provoking piece of pondering poetry! EA |
