~*~ The fog lies low on summer mornings painting the seaside in water colors. It gets under my skin and cools my senses clouding my vision to tears. It rolls in slow motion hovering at the edge of a mountain top alluding to the possibilities of perfect storms and restless lovers. Until the sun breaks streaking across the sand rolling backwards out to sea like prisms stung along the edge of the horizon. The fog lies still and serene in a comfortable wave soft and smooth shading the darkness from my eyes. The salt mist leaves a kiss on the tip of my lips drawn to your silhouette in the sky. ~*~ [This message has been edited by BluesSerenade (08-15-2009 09:04 AM).] |

Fog never looked so good. Love your sea views. (second stanza, maybe alluding instead of eluding?) |

Good morning, Lovely Lori! I'm a fog-lover from way back. As a little girl I lived in New Brunswick on Canada's east coast. I have always found fog to be calming ~ and mysterious. It's also great for one's complexion! A lovely write ~ and a soothing read! Thank you! Linda |

Wherever this is, I would sure love to live there. A worthy legacy is the irrevocable consequence of dreaming. |

I can feel your seabreezes and the gentle mist spreading from your west to my east coast as our oceans connect. So nice to splash along in your sea thoughts |
