Rapid with no hesitation Like a language with no translation Like a book with no explanation You consume my heart as fast as a hawk To you I'm nothing but a dork To you my whisper is a scraping chalk While my love can stretch to the city of New York You swat me away like a little fly While the hatred you feel flows by If you only you knew That all I saw Was you Before you met me I was written off And when i spoke you'd go cough cough I was crushed to hear that since day 1 You referred to me as the ugly one |

I enjoy the contrast between more classical poetic features and modern-day stuff. 'I feel like an animal, and I don't think that I get it. But one day I'll see you around.' |
