The window sits silently
Innocently
Crack
Snap
A spiderweb of cracks dissolves into the glass
The window cracks into a million sparkling diamonds
Light bounces and glides off and through them
I tentivly reach to catch a rainbow
The rainbow slices my plam
Shallow
Yet painful
Red liquid oozes out like a bitten scarlet cherry
I stare
Dumbfounded
At the guilty
That lay in my wounded hand

Even the shallow can be painful...

I've met a few like that myself in my day.  Your poem is using metaphors beautifully!

wow it made me think bout two things at once.... how the shallow can make you feel bad, and how the pain of getting hurt be so "shallow", but yet it still causes pain.... it still causes pain, and nobody like to feel the pain... it made me think about destructive teenage behavior...wow
love it

Always,
