Can't they see how much it hurts me? I'm never good enough for them. Can't they see how much pain is caused by all the pressure? Can't they see that something's wrong? I'm falling apart at the seams. Can't they see something's not right? I'm breaking under their "careful" watch. Why can't they see the scars? Why can't they see the bruises? Why can't they see the burns? Why can't they see the pain that they've caused? Can't they see the scars? Painted so skillfully; cruelly on my heart? Can't they see the tears? The ones I never cry for fear of criticism. Can't they hear the voice? Crying for help; love; affection; anything. Can't they see the void? Empty; replacing emotion for nothing. My shield from pain. Why can't they see the hurt? Why can't they see the fear? Why can't they see the wounds? Why can't they see the tears they've caused? By expecting everything and accepting nothing. By loving nothing but accomplishments. It is a shame this kind of pain is inflicted on young people to succeed, perform, win! I can remember when it was fun to be a young person growing up, fun to be in sports, but now? I can sure sympathize with this and hope anyone subjected to this pressure sure talks it out with those making them feel inferior, because life's journey should be without this criticism and love is not subject to accomplishment. Well done! |

OMG i feel this EXACT SAME WAY EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! I know exactly how you feel... people make fun of you and judge you if you're not up to their standards.... i feel the same way at my high school!!!! can totally relate(thread )-Kai-Kai |
