"Chasing Butterflies" The loneliness I threw away Has begun to surface In the darkness blooms our despair I'm sorry that I avoided your dreams But it felt as though I would be left behind while you chased butterflies Without knowing the reason why I realized the sadness of the song we sang together Instead of saying 'good-bye You smile so kindly it breaks my heart Even in the days we can't meet i want to hold on to you Sincerely yours with all my heart we're chasing butterflies feeling the pain of that song we set forth on our journeys close to tears The promises we made unchanged maybe someday we'll look back fondly |
