For Kate: I’ve been sitting here for ages Trying to fill these pages With something that may actually mean More than words on your screen I thought of how to heal The pain you try to conceal How I could make you see There’s a way out of this debris I’ve pondered without end To find words that will transcend Words that will make you believe That you are much better than you perceive But I couldn’t find a way Or the right words to say That I will listen to your plea In hope to set you free So this is my way of telling you I will always help you through If life’s troubles seem too great Just hold my hand, I’ll share the weight. Inside this exterior, over which the eye might have roved there was the record of a pulsing life, which had learnt too well for its years – Thomas Har |

I would say that Kate is a very lucky girl to have a friend like you. Hope you printed this to keep and read one day when you are much older. Nicely done! |
