They haunt my pain-filled, broken eyes; my smile is wearing thin. I've told myself ten-billion lies and still they won't give in. I've fought, I've asked, I've even begged, but they just won't comply. My mind says "Just get over him." I think I'd rather die. My heart says you still care for me. I don't know if that's true.
