I've never been popular
I've never had anyone
It's easy for them to cast me aside
They don't know
the hell I've been through
The life I've hidden

As I walk by they don't even bother
to lower their voices
Saying words they don't realize
every single one is true
and it breaks my heart
for them to know me so well
and not even know

I've never been popular

They think I'm miss goody two shoes
but I'm not
I was trained to never
do anything wrong
never to hurt anyone
So I put on this smile
and go through the motions
The real me is dead
I no longer have emotions

I've never been popular
I've never had anyone
It's easy for them to cast me aside
They don't know
the hell I've been through
the life I've hidden

So I'll remain the outcast
pretending to care

Love the emotions in this..
Your style is LOTS different than mine.. but the emotions ring out plain and true from start to finsih.. remember even thought we're the outcasts in this world of lies, screwed up people and hate.. somehow we all make it through okay in the end.. The road's not always easy.. but the destination can't run away from you forever..
