i met you under a street sign rain was pouring your make-up running your tears dripping into puddles we longed to see the sun to catch a glimpse over our lonely street we longed to jump and steal the stars to brighten the foggy sky we longed to scare away the clouds to make them fear to show but the rain drown you and i floated away into the dark night leaving no one under the lamp light |
