Then and Now When we were children We used to giggle, Laugh, Bake mud pies, And play dress up. It was fun. Now You gossip Giggle, Laugh Joke At me, Bake up lies. And dress up the truth. It isn’t fun. It’s not funny You laugh at my tears You’re happy at my sadness You smile at my frowns Who are you to do this to me? Burn them Sticks and stones May break my bones But the lies You tell Will burn in hell forever. |
