You tore it out
Your fingers are bloody
You almost killed me
You froze it
Turned it ice blue
You took out
A pair of scissors
And
You cut
It up into
Tiny
Pieces
You turned it
Black
With hatred
You tossed it in the bin
And told me
Don't worry,
It was worthless anyway

So I stand up wipe away the tears
And pick up the broken shards of my heart

You were my reason
To keep going back
To that awful place

But as you said it was worthless…

I loved it! I especially loved at the end how u said "But you said it was worthless" it stood out because I could see that it really bothered you that he said that.... that that was one of the main things that stuck with you, even now!
