What happened to my best friend? |

What happened? What did I do? Was I mean? Did I make you blue? Was it just you horomones? Is it because your going through "the change"? Did you plan to break my heart? I loved you, But you broke my heart… You were my best friend For twelve years! I met you when i was one! Our parents knew each other before you were born! How could you hurt me like this? Day, Night, I cry, Lost in the sadness that I did something wrong. But then the sadness stopped, I realize, I did no wrong I got into a small fight And you chose the other side Well I know people who would scream, punch, kick and bite, But where would that get me? Nowhere… So I laugh at the happy memories And while the people I know would scream and swear all I say is Thankyou: Thank you for the happiness you gave me. Thank you for the laughs we shared. Thank you for the lessons you have taught me. Thank you for standing by me. Thank you for everything you have done. Even though you give me dirties and spread gossip like wildfire I shrug it all off because I maybe younger than you but I am a bigger person. |

madelyn, it's always better to be the bigger person  and let it go or it will eat at you. Eventually that former friend may realize the mistake she made. M |

Thanks but I don't want to be her friend because once a backstabber always a backstabber. Friendships take years to make but only seconds to break. |
