To Have You With Me

I forgot to tell you
Years ago
That I never hoped
To gain back the memories
That were lost for all time

It rained here last night
The drops stayed on the glass
That I looked through
Watching, hoping, waiting
For you

You never came,
And I knew you couldn’t
But the moonlight gleaming
On the snow
Was as deceptive as lost love

Memories flooded back
Tears washed my face
Pain ached my heart
I wished on all I knew
To have you with me

WOW.. i felt all that... every single last word.. Love it!!!... I've felt that feeling so many times... And just when you think u can hear the footsteps you realised its only the rain getting harder...

OH my goodness!! That was AWESOME Kate I mean WOW!!
I can allredy see almost four different ways to translate that and I've barely scrached the surface!
